I have stayed at this hotel twice now, (May 2022 and May 2024), and I will probably stay again in May 2025... I suppose that in itself is a good review. What I love about this hotel though is that it is in a great location, close to the Marienplatz, subway stations, the Isar River, the Deutsche Museum, the Viktualienmarkt, and other great Munich sights. The double rooms are a nice size and the shower was super powerful. The minibar is free and refilled daily, (two types of beer, coke and water), and the breakfast and food at the hotel is excellent too. My six night stay (without breakfast included) cost GB£852 booked on Expedia. This hotel is also quite historic, and famed for having had guests such as Freddie Mercury. Bags can be safely left at the hotel during the day after your 11am check-out if you have a late flight. A taxi from Munich Airport to the hotel costs around €115

We’ve just had a great trip to Munich in this hotel catering for 26 people. The facilities, breakfast, rooftop and central location made this place the best hotel for our trip and made it all a special trip. Free refreshments for the rooftop and daily in the room mini bar. Couldn’t recommend the hotel any more. Credit to all staff but Phillip the operations director went the extra mile to help me with managing our group. Thanks to all

Nice hotel, room was big and well kept, clean and beds were comfortable. No noise at night and always slept well. Staff were all friendly. Free mini bar was a good addition, good location for central Munich. Price was reasonable as well. I would stay here again. Breakfast was included with our room price - it was just "ok" it seemed a bit lacking in choice. Roof terace was nice although quite busy with non hotel guests.

Our stay here was probably one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. From the check-in, to the restaurant and housekeeping and sauna, every segment of this business excels. We stayed in the junior suite and experienced five-star accommodations. The bathroom in the suite is absolutely huge and so well appointed. The extra touches such as timely room cleaning to daily refreshment of the mini bar (free of charge) along with the fact that the beds are super comfortable and the room itself was so quiet. The restaurant was so romantic as well. I can’t say enough about the level of service and how we were treated. Thanks so much. We really had a wonderful time. Gary and Bud.

Lovely hotel, relatively close to the city centre and bars - on a lovely street with bars and restaurants. The staff were excellent, helping with documents I needed printing, and their customer service was first rate (thank you). The roof top bar area is well worth a visit, especially if the weather is good. You can take your breakfast up there too if you like. The rooms are spotless, bathroom facilities excellent. All rooms that our party stayed in were modern, fresh and very comfortable. Munich is a beautiful place, with so many things to do and see. Thoroughly recommended.
